Ok, there are a lot of things I will miss about Jamaica. Mostly people, but other things as well. This article is not about those things though - this is about what I will not miss when I get back to the US. It's meant to be a humourous look at the things that really get on my nerves sometimes. I will try to add to it when I think of new things. Also some items may come up several times but under different circumstances.
- Relaxing in the evening, watching a tv show and checking websites when the power cuts out for no apparent reason.
- Staying up til midnight hoping there will be enough water pressure for a shower, then getting up at 6:30am and still not having enough pressure so going to work with no shower or a bucket-bath.
- Keeping my feet elevated on the arm of the chair so they are in the path of the fan and mosquitos don't land on my ankles.
- Standing at the bus stop for 45 minutes waiting for the #75 and then having 3 of them come by in the space of 1 minute.
