Hello All,

Well, I started school this week. It's interesting because I've been away from the Primary School system for so long, it's hard to remember how it works with one teacher teaching a class for the whole day. I won't be teaching any classes until next week. This first week is to get the computer network up and running and install programs for the students to use. Also I'm learning to use some programs to make banners for the classrooms.

It's been raining a lot lately. We're watching hurricane Ivan which is on track to hit us Friday, but hopefully it will change course like so many others do! The rain isn't really cold, just absolute downpours and soaks you. The litter is also a huge problem because the trash clogs up the drains and then the roads are flooded.

I'm settling into my house. I have a tv, but no cable until the cable company finds some boxes to sell me. I'll only have to pay for the box though, so no monthly fee because I'll be sharing it with the landlord. So for now it's the two local stations which are not usually very exciting. They really like soap operas here, so there's a lot of that, but occasionally some good shows.

I have some pictures ready finally. I will send them in the next two or three emails after I send this one. There are quite a few so if it takes a little bit to download them, just be patient.
