I flew out of Seattle the night of January 4 at almost midnight and arrived in Jamaica around 2:30pm on the 5th. Long flight down again but not too bad. No first class this time (actually I found out it was business class that I had before). Customs insisted on opening a box I had with my clothes in it. I took all the valuable stuff in my carry-on and put the clothes in a box. Anyways, I had to ask three times for tape after she cleared me because she didn't want to give me any so I could get my box back together. Welcome back to Jamaica and the wonderful customer service!

Despite that, I was actually looking forward to coming back to Jamaica. I think it was mostly just so I could get back in a routine. I had a great time back in Washington. I did suprise my grandma and that was pretty nice. My cousin and her kids were there too so it was even better! I spent a few days in Auburn visiting my brother and sister then came back Christmas Eve. Christmas was in LaConner at an aunt's house. The day after I continued the Christmas movie tradition with my mother by seeing Narnia.

I spent some time with my second-cousin who stayed at my grandma's house the week after Christmas and spent most of my time visiting with friends. I didn't have a car, so getting to Seattle Laptops proved an impossible destination. Since I didn't have time to get my laptop to them I just left it because it does me no good here not working. I spent all my remaining money on a new camera after I sold the old one to my cousin. I guess I'll continue using the computer I am currently borrowing from Drews Avenue. It's alright, but just not very powerful so if I do much graphics or web design it goes pretty slow.

I've started helping with some teaching of classes at GHS this week. So far I've just taken a portion or two of the chapter but I'll be working with the IT teacher on Grades 8, 10, and 11. I'm still doing the computer club one day a week. This week we will be starting work with SQL.
